Florida Summer Strings Festival – August 13, 14–15-16-17-18-19, 2025 – Where history, innovation, and artistry unite!

This August, Florida becomes the stage for the much-anticipated Florida Summer Strings Festival, a celebration of string music in all its vibrant forms. Leading the renowned Musicfor America String Orchestra and its acclaimed Italian conductor Lorenzo Turchi-Floris, bringing to life a dynamic program that spans Baroque elegance, Classical grandeur, and contemporary creativity.

A highlight of this year’s festival will be the world premiere of Resonantia Mediaevalis (four Medieval-style Dances) for guitar and string orchestra—an original composition by Maestro Turchi-Floris himself, crafted especially for the occasion. Interpreting this powerful new work is world-class Italian guitarist Alessio Nebiolo, admired across international stages for his artistry and finesse. Cuban violinist Orlando Forte, together with his Ukrainian wife Svetlana Forte, will treat us to a piece much loved by fans of Latin tradition: “La bella Cubana.”

Also gracing the stage is celebrated French violinist Charlotte Orcel, a beloved guest whose captivating performances continue to enchant Florida’s audiences.
